Crying? No, yawning. Yawning makes my eyes water sometimes. But you could change the radio away from that song if you really wanted to be helpful.

Is it that song from Dumbo? The one that the mom sings to Dumbo when she's in jail? Baby of Mine? That one makes me cry, uh, yawn, too.

I'm thinking of Roy Orbison. First words the tip-off I guess.

B., if it is Roy Orbison, don't listen to Roy Orbison!!! Not when you're tired and vulnerable.

The one that gets me is "Wild Horses" by the Rolling Stones. It was "our" song, me and my ex. Should have known the relationship was in trouble when both of us agreed that THAT song summed us up."I watched you suffer/ A dull, aching pain/ Now you've decided/ To show me the same." Hmm.

i have issues with going to the fax machine at my job. right next to it is the radio. i never know what *song* will be playing. sometimes i turn it down. sometimes i let my memories run thru my brain. sometimes i allow the feelings to seep through. i've left that fax machine with tears in my eyes more than once.

For me, it's just about any Bjork song - but not because of any memories that are attached. The songs that are loaded with memories that would mess me up are too countless to count.

But there do seem to be two categories:
1. Just purely beautiful songs that overwhelm me lately
2. Songs loaded with hard memories
